Salesian missionaries and all the children who have been the chief target of your generosity wish to thank you from the bottom of their hearts for the sum of euro 719,140 they received through your decision to allocate five parts per thousand of your taxable income to their advantage in 2006.

In fact, since 2006 financial laws have envisaged that one can decide to allocate this part of his or her taxable income to sustain the voluntary work of Onlus organisations – non profit organisations of social utility, associations for social promotion and other recognised foundations and associations. When the choice falls on a large association, this part can be added to the ‘8x1000' envisaged by Law No. 222 dated 1985.

We wish to take the opportunity to thank you and request you to go on sustaining our missionaries through this type of support too. You can allocate the ‘5x1000' by signing the special box in your revenue form (CUD; 730/1- bis; UNICO for physical persons, etc.), specifying Associazione Missioni Don Bosco's tax code 97540630015. You can only choose one receiver.

It is very important for our missionaries to feel that they are sustained and supported by their native country, especially considering the real opportunities these sums offer in forgotten lands where even the construction of a well, a school or a medical dispensary is of the utmost importance. Furthermore, it is encouraging to feel remembered in prayer and in the concrete actions of those who have stayed back in Italy, as it makes our missionaries feel part of a divine project that reaches beyond them.
