Uganda, and more specifically Namugongo, a village just a few kilometres from capital Kampala. Here, children are the first victims of poverty: malnourished and sickly, often they cannot attend regular school lessons because the costs are too high. Furthermore, the closest primary school is 2 kilometres away, too far for such small children, who in the majority of cases will waste their infancy and youth on the streets, falling victim to drugs and crime.
